Thumbelina

I can remember dressing up like my favorite fantasy girl in the world when I was about 6 years old. She was graceful, beautiful, and tiny like me! Her name was Thumbelina, she was no bigger than a thimble. Her hair was long and red, she looked like a small princess, but she didn’t know who she was. She was never mean to anyone, whether they were a flee or a toad, it didn’t matter to her. The way she acted towards others made me want to be like her, the way she made people her friend, and never judge anybody. That was such a big part in my child hood that made who I am today. Granted nobody can be kind like Thumbelina, but better to try than never try at all.
Even though Thumbalina was a small, breakable girl, she never doubted herself in what she could do. Even thouge I may not be as tiny as her, I still made myself think like she had. She went on a huge journey to find who she was and went into it with some fear but still confident. Well, life is my journey, its scary at times and there are and will be times where I’m going to feel the smallest person out there and no one will notice me, but o matter what things are going to be the way they are and I have to go with it. She never knew what was going to happen to her next but she saw it as an adventure… I’m treating life as my adventure and I’m looking forward to what my adventure has in store for me.

Technology

We all use it, in the morning, mid day, and evening, there’s denying it! You use it for communicating, making coffee, and your job. Have you ever thought about what your like with out a cell phone, a computer or a TV? You would think that your life would be boring, with no way off getting to know someone or talking to someone. Facebook has taken the place of getting to know someone face to face, I will admit, I have a Facebook! I think it’s really fun to see what my friends are up t or seeing all my old ones from other schools that I haven’t seen in a long time. You get to talk to them, see how there doing, and you get to see what they look like through they’re pictures! But at the same time, I it’s not the same as it is seeing them in person. They can say something that they wouldn’t say to your face. For example: I had a message from a girl that I have never talked to before, say to me “I heard that you have been talking bad things about me and could you please stop?” I didn’t know what to say to her because I had never talked to her before in my life. I kept it nice and calm by saying “ I’m sorry that you heard something that hurt you, but I have never meet you so I have no right to talk about about you.” We worked it out and all was well again, she is also a very nice girl! Is goes to show that people will confront you about stuff online and that they wouldn’t in person.
